VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

Family Support Committee Member
Family Support Committee Member Committee members help mentor Habitat Family Partners through the Habitat program and homeownership process.  Members organize homeowner meetings, educational opportunities and social activities. Members assist with the maintenance of Family Partner records of sweat equity.  The committee assist with the annual evaluation of applications for housing, visits qualified applicants to recommend those chosen for homes. Construction Crew Leaders
Volunteers experienced in home construction needed as Construction Committee members.  This committee helps form construction plans and schedules, solicits and trains construction volunteers, coordinates scheduling of skilled supervisors, house leaders, and general volunteers. The committee also helps recruit donations of construction materials and in-kind services, and coordinates delivery schedules. Construction Committee members volunteer 6 or more hours per month and must be available one Saturday per month or able to manage weekday volunteers.
