
Habitat for Humanity DeKalb, held our 2011 Golden Hammer Awards Ceremony
on Saturday April 16, 2011 at 6:30 pm
at Holiday Inn Select Decatur, GA.
The evening featured live music from the Blake Music Group, dinner buffet, cash bar and silent auction, along with awards' program.
This event celebratds 4 Awardees honored for their contributions in the areas of affordable housing, the community and contribution to Habitat for Humanity DeKalb.

2011 Honorees:
Chris Morris, DeKalb County Community Development for her exemplary leadership over thirty years in developing viable urban communities benefiting low to moderate income residents of DeKalb county.
Carol Gregory, Habitat for Humanity International for her 23 years serving Habitat's mission through mentoring and supporting the work of local Habitat for Humanity affiliates in Georgia.
John Mullins, HFHD Volunteer for his 8 years of tireless and passionate effort as a volunteer working on more than 30 homes in DeKalb County.
Mark Taylor, Family Partner for his leadership in mentoring other Habitat Partner families for over 11 years and as an active board member on the DeKalb Habitat CHDO.
With a Memorial Tribute to Pat Heenan – A former Habitat for Humanity DeKalb Board member, member of Shallowford Presbyterian Church, DeKalb resident and tireless advocate of affordable housing.
